National Planning Workshop on Strengthening FBO's Response to HIV / AIDS

NACO-UNAIDS-Art of Living-WAYE planning and sensitisation workshop for Faith Based Organisations was an effort to create a concrete and comprehensive implementation plan, as a result of the Hindu Leaders Caucus on HIV and AIDS in June 2008

12 of WAYE instructors were trained by UNAIDS, NACO and SACS in a two day 16 hours interactive session with an objective of providing technically perfect information about HIV / AIDS and the prevailing situation in India. This was an exercise to brainstorm solutions to tackle the issue of Stigma and Discrimination amongst the HIV / AIDS infected people.
