Donate a Book

Because of a lack of cultural and educational integration, aboriginal communities have remained largely isolated. In particular, tribal youth sorely need the opportunity to receive a modern education in order to break debilitating social patterns. The underprivileged section of the society also needs attention from the urban class in terms of financial support.

With an objective of helping these sections of the society, Donate-A-Book youth service program was initiated by WAYE. WAYE volunteers collected books and have book fairs where they sold the books at a meager cost and raised funds for the underprivileged children. They also collected books from households with an aim to donate them to aboriginal and tribal communities in India and abroad.
